The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Soldiers Party

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of characters, and a thrilling plot including celestial beings, fiends, and sinister influences increasing in influence within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the third episode of the new season are included.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

Episode 3 ended with a major cliffhanger and presented the initial group of adventurers who will branch out from the primary party to embark on their separate journey, distinct from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table includes Teor Pridesire (brought to life by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

Given 13 cast members, it was clear from the start that keeping everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

This explains, the initial installments of this story serve as an Introduction, weaving together the characters’ stories before splitting into three smaller tables: Warriors, Strategists, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

As described by the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a classically intense battle-oriented story mode where diplomatic options are few and far between.

At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might look out of place, but the developments of episode 3 make it clear why these five characters are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the team has a clear idea where to head next after a brutal first encounter with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose demise kicked off the story’s plot—manipulated the enemy for his personal gain, entering Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the rogue, and swiping all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The traitor then cleared his liabilities and ran away to a fortified location in the remote area, above the urban center, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each member has a specific drive to depart the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, wants retribution.
  • The adventurer is familiar with the northern area and cautions that it is a hostile environment.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to eliminate the target and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their status as prominent individuals in the influential clan could enable the party enter locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter swore a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now follow him everywhere.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are sought by the authorities that rule the setting for a range of causes, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and Wicander defied House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This leaves them no alternative but to head to Timmony in search of Casimir.

What’s Next?

According to episode three’s follow-up content, we find out that the warrior group will not appear the following episode, leaving the remaining eight cast members to assemble the Questers and Planners parties.

Fans can anticipate learning which adventurers will be where in the story’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
