The anticipation surrounding the recent awards show has been intense, particularly after presenter Geoff Keighley posted a puzzling photo of a strange statue. The question is finally answered. Larian Studios is developing a fresh Divinity game.
Announced as Divinity, the game was showcased with a bold trailer that included intense imagery, from a figure engulfed in flames to an orgy and the literal unleashing of hell.
Not the Expected Sequel
Anyone expecting Divinity Original Sin 3, this is not that. Larian clarified that a direct sequel to its critically acclaimed RPGs is not on the cards right now.
However, the developer referred to this new Divinity as a continuation of the main series. This distinction hints that the team could be building a faster-paced experience instead of another tactical title. Currently, we can only guess, as only a teaser video is available.
